    Why would Brainerd be DQ'd for a move that was OK by the judges at the Apple Valley Invitational? I hope Brainerd can appeal the DQ.

    I don't believe that the move was intentionally choreographed to be illegal, but was executed in a way (adrenaline kicks in) where it was no longer legal.

    Yes Chaska did Jazz at Maple Grove and Kick at Holy Angels. I heard that they actually got a -3 deduction per judge at Holy Angels and that they would have won kick at Holy Angels.
